With a diverse background in math, statistics, software, and privacy, John is uniquely qualified to offer data privacy consulting services. John has a PhD in applied math from University of Texas at Austin, was a research statistician in the Department of Biostatistics at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and was adjunct faculty at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Since 2013 he has worked as an independent consultant in statistics and data privacy.

Owen focuses on business operations and helps explore new opportunities for Kingwood Data Privacy. A former airline pilot turned software consultant, he’s built multiple companies and has several exits under his belt.

As a self-confessed dabbler, tinkerer, and tech nerd, Owen loves finding connections between disparate subjects, integrating systems together, and enabling things that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.

Rick Troth (CISSP) has extensive experience in security, cryptography, networking, and system administration. He understands critical infrastructure technology from the bottom up and so he is someone you go to when an abstraction is leaking and you need to understand details at a deeper level.
